Composer Oliver Wallace at The Liberty Theater, Seattle, WA (1924)

I found this photo among my grandfather's things a few years ago, and a recent slew of historical photos from Seattle's Musicians' Union prompted me to scan it -- a gorgeous photo of then-organist-and-conductor Oliver Wallace playing the organ at the Liberty Theater in Seattle, Washington, circa 1924. Wallace would eventually join Walt Disney Studios in the 1930's, and work on over 150 films for the company including winning an Oscar for his work on "Dumbo". I hope you enjoy the photo as much as I do... it was quite dirty, with lots of marks...

Great of you to post this picture. Not enough people are aware of Oliver Wallace's years in Seattle, before he moved to SF and then LA, to work for Disney. Thanks!
